Transfer to a CT Swim Club

Parents/swimmers are responsible for submitting their own transfers directly with USA Swimming via SWIMS.

• Login to your SWIMS acct>click General Info (parents will have to choose the child first) then in the middle of the page is a Transfer Button, click it and follow the prompts.  
• Please email your registrar after submitting for approval.

A swimmer wishing to transfer to a CSI club must do the above. Athletes cannot represent the new club until 60 days after the last day of competition in a USA sanctioned meet with the OLD USA club.   YMCA, high school, college meets do not count as USA Sanctioned meets even if they are Approved or Observed.

A swimmer who wishes to compete for a secondary school, college, or university will be automatically released upon commencement of his/her season to compete for that school in school competition, and upon termination of such school swimming season he/she is immediately eligible to represent the USA Swimming non-school club.
